Valentine’s Day
Wednesday, February 14th, 2007I have written down three posts in three consecutive physics classes, without posting any of them. Me not having a laptop is to blame for this. I generally try to be attentive during all lectures, especially during the initial weeks of any semester. I have been doing this for the last thirteen years and I have become quite successful at failing at trying without trying. I am yet to ever cross the one month mark. Nonetheless, the reason I am doing this, even-though it is the start of a semester is that I already had done’Divergence’ and ’Curls’ during my Maths course last semester; and “Gauss’ Theorem” during last whole year during my Physics classes by one of my most memorable teachers in school the week before my board exams.
It is Valentine’s Day today, presently it is of no particular significance to me other than it gives me a reason to blog about. Another reason could have been ’ extracting’ treats out of people who got themselves girls. But, I am now so good at getting treats out of all people that I could get one for today being the fourth day of the week. Further the treat aspect is much negated by the problem of me having to console the ones who have been turned down. Which far outnumber then ones who don’t. People do not seem to like the concept of Valentine’s Day it seems (I do not mean the Shiv Sena folks, who like the concept of not liking things which are liked, it seems) I really do like the concept of Valentines Day, it gives the faint at heart a huge a Tsunami like wave of confidence in asking others out. Hell, if you got a problem with everything being materialised and other crap; then do not celebrate your birthdays with gifts, do not brag about the Wi-fi enabled phone of yours without knowing how to use it and stop doing a lot of other things including not buying branded stuff ever. Go, get a life. Or kindly join either the Shiv Sena or the Taliban (I’ll go with the former- Atleast I’ll be alive till the next Valentine’s )
