iPhone in Dubai - Jan 2008
The iPhone, unlocked and without contract, will be coming to Dubai in January 2008. It will cost 3299 AED. From a reliable website’s reliable source.
It will be 2.5G (Same as the US - Edge but no 3G). Ruddy hell, who cares. It is the damn iPhone.
Well this may also mean that the phone could be available in the rest of Asia too somewhere around that.
Now only if you would lend me 3299 AED (About 898.91 US / 37,938.50 Rs)

This is interesting because just yesterday on NDTV they announced that the iPhone will be coming to India in January officially. Don’t know where they got that info, but if it’s coming to Dubai they may be right.

Prateek, yeah he did. I told him about 35-30 grand. Well I know I’ll get the money anyways from him after a bit of haggling. Only had it been cheaper I would have bought some things like a couple of external hard disks that I so desperately wanna buy, alongwith an uber cool laptop bag I saw at an apple store and the mighty mouse. That is a long list.
I mean 900$?! When is it releasing in Down Under?

No real news about its release here. Rumours point to a March 2008 launch.
